BBC - Social Media Infographic

Comm by Telegraph Hill on behalf of the BBC. I was asked to create a graphic to demonstrate the comparative strengths of social media formats within various BBC broadcasts. I had to liaise directly with Lindsay Nuttall, former head of marketing at the BBC on this project.

Initial concept..
Concept development..
The concept we settled on displays each social media account as a ball floating around in a coloured liquid, with ripples filtering out from the high profile brands in the centre, around the BBC logo, to the smaller less know broadcasts towards the outer edge. It is noticeable that the lesser known broadcasts often have as large a social media presence as the more popular broadcasts [popularity is reflected by the ball size]..
